Job Description
Senior Solutions Architect will be accountable for
the planning and implementation of comprehensive technical
solutions that meet our clients' business requirements on
high-impact projects. You will lead the evolution of the
enterprise architecture and considers all the business
drivers to arrive at the best solution. Lead development
of the end to end technical solution architecture for high
complexity and high risk IT initiatives. Translates
business needs into Enterprise Architecture requirements
and identifies organizational requirements for the
resources, structures and cultural changes necessary to
support the EA. You will provide leadership to lower level
solution architects.
Requirements
-15+ years of IT solution delivery, preferably playing
a diverse set of roles (e.g. programmer, architect,
project manager)
- 7+ years of Enterprise Architecture/ Solutions
Architecture experience on large, enterprise projects
- Proven experience at leading the design and solutions
from conception to implementation
- Experience with all aspects of architecture including
application, data, security and infrastructure
- Working knowledge of financial applications as well as
host based systems - would be an asset
- Server storage networking experience - would be an asset
- Detailed understanding of SQL database function,
including Oracle and MS SQL Server
- Solid experience with a variety of
technologies/approaches including J2EE, .NET, mainframe
platform, packaged applications, multi-platforms
applications, human workflow, EAI, SOA
- Expert understanding of the architecture discipline,
processes, concepts and best practices
- Expert architecture design and modeling capabilities
- Expert understanding of a wide variety of technologies
- Advanced ability to apply industry/technical knowledge
to provide solutions that increase business results and/or
minimize risk regarding the integration of applications
across multiple product systems and delivery channels
- Knowledge of business re-engineering principles and
processes
