Job Description
-Re-platforming the current application to the new
platform
-Managing a diverse set of business and technical
requirements
-Developing and implementation appropriate project plans,
issue logs, change controls and risk management processes
aligned with Project standards and procedures
-Provide leadership and direction to group of professional
and technical staff to ensure effective progress towards
Program deliverables on established timelines and balanced
workloads by identifying, assigning and managing team
functions, tasks, priorities, and establishing performance
standards
-Heavily involved in the development and evolution of
enterprise architecture solutions, and in governance
processes, sourcing decisions and project auditing
-Review requirements, technical solutions, and ensure that
they are sound and are aligned with best practice
-Provide technical consulting expertise on technical
specifications
-Knowledge transfer new functionality and mentor OPS staff
-Maintain applicable standards and controls, issue
tracking, task management and change control procedures
-Manage the completion of tasks against project timelines
according to plan
-Execute contingency plans in-order to mitigate risk where
and when appropriate
-Monitor and budget the technical team budget allocation
-Review requirements, design statements and technical
solutions, and ensure that they are sound and are aligned
with best practices
-Provide technical consulting expertise on application,
database infrastructure, interfaces, conversions, and
customizations
-Prepare/coordinate preparation or required materials for
gating approvals
Mandatory Requirements
*Experience with Peoplesoft Implementations
*Experience in Project Management (Ie. Project
Management Software, System Analysis, Design, Development,
testing (unit) and implementation
*Experience with a complex public sector or unionized
environment
*Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making
skills, spoken and written communication skills,
interpersonal and negotiation skills
*Experience in working in an environment with ITIL based
Incident and Change Management Processes
*Nice to Have Experience with Peoplesoft Talent
