Location - Toronto
Job Description
Works through the requirements gathering, documentation,
set-up activities, configuration, testing and user support for SAP
application software. This position will also be responsible for
hands-on work and under leadership of team lead will work in small
cross-functional teams tasked with solving business issues. Will provide
technical assistance for specific process and sub-process areas or
assigned tasks. Responsible for understanding how to estimate, configure
and leverage SAP functionality to meet core business process needs.
Interfaces regularly with Business Stakeholders, IT infrastructure &
Development teams, to ensure that business requirements are met through
proper system configuration. Interfaces with and provides updates to
Lead and Manager on a day-to-day basis.
Requirements
· 2-3 full lifecycle SAP implementation experience including an
in-depth understanding of SAP integration and ASAP methodology required.
· 6-8 years of related SAP experience.
· Knowledgeable SAP resource with Minimum Five Years MM and/or FI/CO
Experience
· MM Experience to include Configuration of Pricing Schemas and Cost
Conditions
· Preference for FI Experience and an understanding of the Cost Method
of Accounting
· Understanding of end-to-end purchase-to-pay lifecycle (master data,
procurement, receiving, invoice receipt and matching, payment
processing)
· Understanding of EDI and B2B processes beneficial
· Education Required - The knowledge, skills and abilities
typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas
· Retail/business experience preferred.
· BS Computer Science or related field.
· Ability to succinctly identify business requirements and document
design
· Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business
and technical
· Ability to work independently with minimal direction
· Solution oriented, creative thinker
· Strong decision making and solid experience with package software
implementation methodology and tools
