Job Description
To provide reporting solutions (financial or other) to be used by Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations and other departments. Create data cubes from various data sources (such as MXP) using TM1 or other reporting tools.
Develop data cubes as requested by the various business units, using TM1, VBA, and/or Excel.
Develop and prepare TM1 upload programs using Turbo Integrator and/or Progress 4GL to create scheduled processes in data systems and in TM1.
Requirements
1. University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science or related fields.
2. 3+ years of experience working in a development environment with TM1 applications. Must have strong expertise in TM1 cube design, Rules, and TI, along with expertise in Excel and Excel/VBA.
3. Familiarity with Progress, SQL, Oracle, MS Access, Turbo Integrator, Crystal Xcelsius, Visual Basic, is an asset.
4. Intermediate level version 9 Progress programmer/developer and familiarity with MXP (Varnet) is an asset.
5. Able to work well alone or as part of a team.
6. Vision and foresight regarding business issues.
7. Excellent documentation skills along with verbal and written communication skills.
8. Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting skills with customer oriented focus.
9. Knowledge of Financial transactions and statements
10. Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and its application to Business Intelligence systems.
11. Knowledge of MOLAP and ROLAP design tools.
12. Previous experience with ETL tools is an asset.
